AI Todo Helper

The AI Todo Helper focuses on the final-mile todos underneath an action step. It understands current progress, Today's Actions, and any clarifications you save, so it can break work down, reshuffle priorities, and keep the list realistic for your available capacity.

Open the helper

Drill into an action step from the goal Details page and choose the Todo Resources tab. Click Todo Helper on the right to slide open the chat drawer with your running history and plan snapshot.

What it can do now

• Inspect every todo with its order, completion state, Today's Actions flag, and any affiliate link or resource context already attached.
• Mark todos done or re-open them, move items up or down the list, or delete anything that is no longer needed.
• Add brand-new todos (with optional Today's Actions flag) exactly where you want them in the sequence, or rewrite an existing todo for clarity.
• Capture clarifications about available time, preferred tools, or blockers so future suggestions stay grounded in your reality.
• Stream the tools it is running and summarise plan updates into friendly checklists before the final coaching message arrives.

• "Split the research todo into two smaller items and add the first one to Today's Actions."
• "I only have 45 minutes right now-what should I do and can you mark the rest for tomorrow?"
• "Reorder the list so outreach comes after drafting the proposal, then give me a quick summary of the plan."
• "Remove the outdated webinar todo and suggest a better resource to learn the skill."

Clarifications panel

Use chips to capture constraints such as "Only mornings available" or "Must avoid heavy lifting". Toggle a chip to confirm or dismiss it-anything confirmed is passed into the agent before it edits your list.

Live updates

The helper streams status updates (for example, "Running set_todo_completion") so you can see progress in real time. The rolling "Plan updates" log at the top of the drawer records every change applied in the session.

Notes

• Todo positions are 1-based and match the order in the UI.
• Adding a todo to Today's Actions records a timestamp-this powers nudges if you forget to follow through.
• Manual edits remain in sync, so feel free to tweak the list outside the helper and keep the drawer open.
