Squads

Squads are invite-only accountability pods. Keep the roster small, share progress frequently, and use the weekly ritual to stay aligned.

How Squads Work

Every squad has an owner (the creator) and a tight roster of members. Owners set the start date, choose the weekly cadence, and cap the size (2-10 people). All squads are private.

• Members can only join with a private invite link generated by the squad owner. Links expire after 14 days and have limited uses to keep the pod intentional.
• Owners can remove members at any time and create fresh invites from the squad page.
• New members must already know someone inside the squad. There is no public directory or open join flow.

Daily and Weekly Rhythm

1. Create or receive a private invite.
2. Share evidence of work after deep focus sessions (text, links, or uploads).
3. Run the Friday ritual: wins, blockers, commitment for the next week.

Admin Visibility

Admins can review every squad in the Dashboard › Admin › Squads panel. A notification also goes to team@goaliath.online whenever a new squad is created.

Scientific Rationale

• Self-Determination Theory (Relatedness): trusted relationships reinforce capability, autonomy, and persistence.
• Invite-only pods increase accountability and reduce lurking, improving compliance with COM-B capability and opportunity levers.
