FAQ & Troubleshooting

Use this page to resolve common issues quickly. Each section is grouped by problem type so you can find fixes fast.

Account and access

What should I do if I see an application error page?

  1. Click "Try again" or refresh the page.
  2. Check that your internet connection is stable.
  3. Sign out and sign back in if the error repeats.
  4. If it still fails, use the contact form and include the error reference shown on screen.

Do I need to set goals to use Goaliath?

You get the most value with at least one goal, but you can still use Today's Actions, Lessons, and Journal independently.

AI and rate limits

Why did I see a rate limit message?

Rate limits protect reliability during high usage. Wait about one minute, then try again.

  1. Pause briefly before sending another AI request.
  2. Avoid sending multiple prompts in quick succession.
  3. If it persists, submit details through the contact form.

How do I do a mind unload with Calendar AI?

  1. Open Mind unload from dashboard tasks or the Mind unload tab in Calendar AI.
  2. Calendar AI starts capture mode immediately and keeps separate threads for Chat, Mind unload, and Baseline.
  3. If you want gap-filling, ask directly in chat (for example: "fill my free gaps today").
  4. Use the Reset thread button in the right panel to clear only the active mode thread.
  5. Chat replies stay short and plain language while draft structure stays in the right-side workspace.
  6. Edit draft cards on the right, then confirm items to schedule or keep unscheduled.
  7. If sleep/wake times are not set yet, suggested scheduling avoids 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM by default.

Planning and execution

How many actions should I schedule per day?

Start with 3-5 must-do items and one quick win early in the day.

What if I miss a day?

Reset with a smaller plan the next day. Briefly note what blocked you, then reduce scope and restart.

How does baseline setup work in Calendar AI?

Baseline mode walks through Sleep, Work, Buffers, and Personal blocks in sequence from the Baseline tab. You confirm each section before it is applied. Baseline stores weekly defaults and supports date-specific exceptions when your schedule changes.

Science and trust

Goaliath applies Perceptual Control Theory first, with Goal-Setting Theory and Self-Determination Theory as supporting lenses. For full details, see Science & Principles.
