AI Action Helper
The AI Action Helper lives on each action-step plan so you can fine-tune the ladder between a high-level step and the todos underneath it. Ask it to reprioritise, tighten timelines, or add fresh steps and it will keep the sequence coherent with your overall goal.
Open the helper
From any goal's Details page, open an action step and switch to the Daily Steps tab. Click Action Helper near the top-right. A right-side drawer appears with your chat history, plan snapshot, and saved clarifications.
What it can do now
- Review every action step with its order, timeframe, Today's Actions status, and completion percentage so it always works from current data.
 - Mark steps active or complete, adjust their duration, or move them to a new position while preserving overall sequencing.
 - Insert brand-new steps with a timeframe and optional add-to-today flag, or remove steps that no longer belong in the plan.
 - Reword existing steps for clarity and tailor Today's Actions so only the right items land on your daily list.
 - Capture clarifications (constraints, preferences, resources) as reusable chips so the helper can honour them in future sessions.
 - Stream tool activity and surface plan updates as a checklist so you know exactly which edits were applied before the final summary lands.

Sample prompts
- "Move step 3 to the top and make it five days instead of ten."
 - "Add a new step after step 2: conduct two customer interviews (3 days) and add it to Today."
 - "Mark the prep step complete, remove the duplicate, and reword step 4 so it focuses on testing."
 - "What should I tackle today if I only have 90 minutes?"

Clarifications panel
Use the chips at the top of the drawer to confirm or edit remembered context. For example, add clarifications such as "Works evenings only" or "Needs partner sign-off before launch". Toggle a chip to mark it confirmed, or delete it if it no longer applies. The helper reads these before changing your plan.
Live updates
Status messages appear while the helper runs tools (for example, "Running move_action_step"). You can keep typing while operations finish, and the streaming reply is replaced with a consolidated breakdown once all edits complete.
Notes
- Timeframes are in days and positions are 1-based, matching the list you see on screen.
 - Manual edits you make in the UI stay in sync-there's no need to close the helper before adjusting something yourself.
 - When a step gets added to Today's Actions, the helper records the timestamp so nudges and streaks stay accurate.
